ABHISHEKAM EVENTS
Gaja Lakshmi Thayar Thirumanajanam
It is a significant festival celebrated at our temple dedicated to Goddess Lakshmi. This festival honors the goddess of wealth and prosperity along with her elephant form, known as Gaja Lakshmi.

Date and Timing
The festival is usually celebrated on Pournami (full moon day) in the month of Magh (January-February), which coincides with the Tamil month of Margazhi. Specific dates may vary slightly depending on the year, so it’s always good to check with the temple/ devasthanam management for more details.

Rituals and Offerings
Abhishekam
Devotees offer abhishekam (bathing) rituals with water, milk, curd, ghee, and flowers to Goddess Gaja Lakshmi.
Aloka Prasada
Lighting lamps around the idol to provide light and blessings.
Naivedya
Offering Dry fruits and other food items as naivedya, which is then distributed as prasadams from temple premises.
Vedha Kirtanam
Singing devotional songs and hymns dedicated to Goddess Lakshmi.
Sankalpa and Prayers
Special sankalpams (prayers) are offered for personal and family prosperity, wealth, and well-being.
Devotees can book specific time slots month on month for these rituals in advance to ensure a peaceful experience.
